After this demonstration attendees can start imaging horses.

There are a few FLIR infrared cameras available for those who have no camera.

Everyone has to write a report! (attendees have to write this report in the evening!!)

Writing a report is required to receive a certificate of attendance!

Back pain in horses can have different causes.

A few examples:

  • Leg pain
  • Poor riding
  • Bad saddle fit
  • And much more…

During this course you will learn:

  • Evaluation if horse is fit to carry saddle and rider.
  • Are the muscles in good shape for the type of work the horse does.
  • Does the saddle tree fit the back conformation of this horse.
  • Does the saddle fit this horse? If not, why?
  • Proper balance of a saddle.
  • Central point of rider and horse.
  • Identify saddle problems

During this workshop, there will be horses and saddles onsite for live demonstration. After demonstration, attendees will work in small groups to assess saddle fit with individual horses and saddles.

Registration is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
